Parkhurst Properties

A 13-bed HMO is no walk in the park, especially when you want the social areas to 'wow', function well and meet all required space standard regulations.

With contractors well on their way with first fix and pressure mounting for decisions, the social area was proving a sticking point. So we were brought in by Parkhurst Properties as some fresh eyes to make the space work harder.

Here we:

  • Redesigned the kitchen into two runs for functionality, with a sociable island 

  • Delivered a full specification, including lighting and electrical plans for contractors to work from

  • Built-in a dining bench to sit all housemates for dinners or working and a dark, cinema-style lounge area for cosy tv watching

  • Utilised Parkhurst's signature style to ensure it sits well in their portfolio
